| Kathy Lowe, Azle, TX. I have nothing but good things to say. I take barrel racing lessons from her. It seemed more like riding with a friend than a "teacher". Yet I came away with more knowledge and confidence than I really thought possible in such a short time. In watching her handle other horses, she has a true gift for both the knowledge, skill and patience required. I would recommend her with flying colors to anyone needing riding lessons or horse training. _____________________________________ I have dealt with Streakin Iron Performance Horses now going on 3 years and I have had nothing but good things to say about her professionalism and good will to others and their horses. If you are looking for a horse to be trained i will always recommend her. She is quiet and calm and easy going with all levels of horse. She is also kind and caring with her customers. Thank you, Jennifer Boyd Lazy 2J Ranch ____________________________________ After spending the weekend with Jennifer, I am fully confident in her training skills as well as her teaching skills. She taught me more in one hour than I have learned in many years. After spending that time with her, she has Gabe the Babe and I stepping up into the next level of barrel racing. She is a friend and an awesome consultant. She has done nothing but help me and my horse. I can't wait until Hickory Eyed Peppy gets going on barrels with Jennifer as the jockey! I know that she can make him a champion and that she will do the best with him when it comes to getting him in the bridle and teaching him to lift his shoulders and move around the barrels. I have nothing but high hopes after working with Jennifer on a one on one basis. I can't wait to post pictures of Gabe the Babe and I with our first saddle! Rachel Zanek Pineland, TX __________________________________________________________ Debra and Dara Abbott Alvarado, TX My daughter, Dara, has been riding since she was four years old. However, there is a difference between being able to ride and knowing how to "really" ride. She didn't know the difference between flexing one and turning one, how to get one to collect, how to counter-bend, etc., in order to figure out what was going on with her horse and the problems she was having. Jennifer was able, in just one lesson, to diagnose what problems her horse was having and how to correct them. Jennifer has been able to show her how to do all those things at home, and there is a great improvement in her riding ability and her horse's performance. They are not the same team that showed up at Jennifer's. I know God brings people together for a reason. I also know that meeting Jennifer that Tuesday night at Diamond W, and then seeing the posts about her clinic; that she was the answer we were looking for to help my daughter and her horse. With Jennifer's help, knowledge, and encouragement, my daughter is wanting to start barrel racing again. I think if it hadn't been for Jennifer, she would've had me sell her horse by now. My daughter has a whole new understanding of how horses work, move, and think. Instead of being a "passenger" on her horse, she's now the "driver". Thank you, Jennifer. _____________________________________________________________ I attended the Streakin' Iron Clinic as a spectator on Saturday (Oct 20, 2007), and I can't say enough good things about Jennifer and Jill. I watched Jennifer ride at least 5 different horses and I am so impressed with her! When I got there she was riding one of her own, who was understandably responsive to her . . . but then I watched her get on several of the horses that were attending the clinic. Her approach was calm, consistent and firm. She rode three horses that differed in skill level, temperment, and ability and they all melted like butter in her hands. Jennifer's ability to instruct is equally remarkable. She is able to instruct in a way that isn't intimidating, and her demonstrations are clear and obvious. I really LOVE the way Jennifer rides, and while she is training and schooling she is so calm and patient. Her requests of the horses are so obvious and plain that you can see that it's easy for them to understand. I'll be sending my horse to Jennifer next month, and I can hardly wait to see how amazing he is when he gets back. Ve DeCluette _______________________________________________________________ |
